Rabbit Row is turning ONE!

Let's celebrate ALL month long! 

It's almost hard to believe, but November 2022 marks the shop's first anniversary!  I am so grateful for every one of you - sharing your talents and fiber craft journey with me. And because I'm planning things around here, November will be packed with tons of fun events, prizes and surprises! 

Remember that we are offering free US shipping through our new on-line shop until Dec. 31, 2022.  Keep up-to-date with all the activities by following our social channels on Facebook and Instagram. 

How are we celebrating?  Let's count the ways....

 

1- #StitchCorning EVERY Sat. & Sun. in November, 1-4pm

You've 👀 those inviting rocking chairs in the rear of the shop; join us for #StitchCorning EVERY Saturday and Sunday in November from 1-4pm.  Stuff your project bag with UFO's and become part of our welcoming community.  Our Mending Circle will continue to meet Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8 pm.  #StitchCorning and Mending Circle are ALWAYS free events - as the weather cools down, remember to bring a lidded tumbler for hot tea!

 

2 - Holiday Open House Sat., Nov. 12th: 11am-6pm

Rabbit Row is joining other Gaffer District shops for a Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 12th - come in early to snag the perfect gift before the mad rush of the holidays. Or get a jump start on those handmade holiday projects. Shop one-of-a-kind products, kits and stocking stuffers for a favorite Maker on your list (and if that's YOU, I won't tell...)  Free Rabbit Row project bag with $50+ purchase while supplies last - for online orders placed that day too! 

 

3 - Anniversary Weekend Sat., Nov. 19th: 11-6 pm & Sun., Nov. 20th: Noon - 4 pm

Join us for a fun celebration weekend with guests, demos, treats and in-store specials. An anniversary promo code will be activated on Fri., Nov 18th at the top of our website banner for on-line shoppers, valid through Midnight on Sun., Nov 20th - and remember, FREE SHIPPING for every order through the end of the year! 

As a special gift to in-shop customers, avid knitter and visual arts maker, Carissa Schlesinger will be available all day Sat., Nov. 19th sharing with you her talent for color matching.  Carissa studied textile design and construction in college and gained valuable color development experience by working as a designer and color forecaster for a woven textile mill. Let Carissa help you pick the best color palette for your next project!

 

And I'm so happy that Andria Kroner Stafford, will be on hand Saturday to display some of her creative mending projects and demonstrate the Katrinkles Darning Loom that so many of you love. Her beautiful stitching styles will inspire you to tackle everything in your mending basket!

   4- Show Your Local Gaffer District Love This Small Business Saturday-Nov. 26th

Being a part of our vibrant downtown Gaffer District has been everything I had hoped it would be. Both locals and visitors alike appreciate the small-town touch independently owned businesses bring to our charming city.  By shopping at Rabbit Row, you are supporting so many other small businesses who make up my many vendors and contribute to both environmental and economic sustainability.  Here are just a few: GinLip Farm, Alchemist's Whim, Englishman Bay Handmade, Plied Yarn Co., Hudson + West Co

5- #RabbitRowReward - YOUR FINISHED PROJECTS!

And I can't be the only one who has finished projects in the last twelve months - so let me REWARD you! 

If you've finished a project with materials you purchased at Rabbit Row, there are several ways to enter. 

1. Send a photo of your project to rabbitrowyarns@gmail.com
2. Post a photo of your project on Facebook or Instagram, tag @rabbitrowyarns and use #rabbitrowreward  or
3. Stop into the shop with your project by November 30th  

Submissions must be received by Midnight on November 30, 2022 to be entered to win some fun prizes from across the shop. I'll pick random winners on December 1st.  I can't wait to see all you've made and share photos!
