Slow Fashion:

Visible Mending with Sashiko Workshop

July 15, 2023 - 2-4:30 pm

Slow down this summer with slow stitching.
Try #visiblemending and bring new life to beloved wardrobe pieces.
Join me for a mindful stitching workshop. You’ll learn how to properly hand mend fabric pieces (think denim or shirts) with Sashiko - the ancient Japanese hand-sewing technique. Bring a worn/damaged piece to repair or use my custom designed fabric swatches - I'll supply the rest.  You’ll also take home tools that will last for MANY additional projects.

    2023 Colorway Collection: Echo Location

Are you ready for an adventure?
Rabbit Row is one of two stockists for NY-Dyer Dark Sea Yarn who you can usually find at local fiber festivals, and she has developed a beautiful color palette with her new Echo Location collection.  A collaboration with Central NY artist Bob Murdock, each of the five colorways draw inspiration from one of his spectacular photographs. Skeins come with information for you to purchase the corresponding print direct from the artist.  We are stocking both her fingering bases: Kayak (eco-processed Merino + Recycled Nylon) and Cutter (Merino + Black Neps).
