Sock Knitting Class with Doris! 11 AM session

Our 1 PM session has sold out - this is for 11 am - Noon class. 

What knitter doesn’t want a sock project at the ready to take with them wherever they go? Learn the intuitive Gallus Sock featuring the “Work Smarter, not Harder Heel” - the sock that Doris learned in German elementary school & hasn’t stopped knitting!

With some knitting time in between lessons, you will have a pair of warm, woolen house socks and a pattern adaptable for other sizes and yarn weights.

1. First lesson - Jan 13: casting on the cuff & leg.
2. Second lesson - Jan 20: the heel & gusset
3. Third lesson - Jan 27: instep & finishing the toe 

Basic knitting skills are a prerequisite.

$65/person includes lesson and 2 skeins of Plied yarn* 

(US 7/4.5mm DPNs 6", if needed, are extra)

*Stop in ahead of time to pick out your colorful Plied yarn so we can wind it for you before class.
